Description
The Federal Crop Insurance program is a safety net for agriculture producers. Despite changing the law to allow aquaculture to take part in the program, aquaculture producers still struggle to acquire adequate coverage. However, a re-evaluation of certain provisions in the law could pave the aquaculture industry to protect their commodity and increase the value of the industry overall.
